Josephine Cardin is an award-winning photographer, actor, writer, and filmmaker whose work explores the intersection of art, identity, and human storytelling. Born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Miami, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History and Journalism and a master’s degree in Communications.
A former Disney dancer, Josephine transitioned from performing on stage to telling stories through the lens, developing a multidisciplinary career rooted in visual expression and creative exploration. Her photography has been exhibited internationally in London, Paris, Madrid, Miami, and New Orleans, with work featured in Vogue Italia, Dance Magazine, Hi-Fructose, and Playbill.
Alongside her work as a visual artist and actor, Josephine continues to expand her creative practice into filmmaking, screenwriting, and directing. She has furthered her studies through Sundance Collab and Gotham Writers Workshop and is currently developing and directing her first short documentary series. With experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid, she brings an artist’s eye and a storyteller’s sensibility to every project.
